Piero Pizzi Cannella : Nero d'avorio e bianco di spagna

6 October 2000 - 15 January 2001

After its recent exhibition dedicated to Arcangelo, Lorenzelli Arte proceeds with its reconnaissance of contemporary Italian art with a new artist, whose artistic studies are recognized on an international level. We are pleased to inaugurate this season of exhibitions with a show dedicated to Piero Pizzi Cannella.

After a long absence from the Milanese scene, Pizzi Cannella has planned, studied and created this exhibition for the rooms of our gallery. The works which are a synthesis of his production during the last few years, show us - next to large-sized works, among which La nuit espagnole, Nero d'Avorio, Bianco d'Agosto, Gran Ballo d'Oriente, Diario dal Mare and Senza Titolo, which are more than 3 meters in size - a series of 24 paper works which have been created for one of the exposition rooms.

Approximately 50 works will be on view.

The catalogue includes articles by Luca Massimo Barbero, Maurizio Medaglia and Piero Pizzi Cannella.
