Paesaggi dell'io 25 January - 20 March 2018 Zoran Music nasce a Gorizia nel 1909 e muore a Venezia nel 2005. Di famiglia slovena, cresce nel melting pot culturale di una terra in cui convivono italiani, tedeschi, croati, serbi e altre nazionalità, ma la sua pittura è particolarmente legata alla Venezia bizantina dello sguardo frontale e a quella del colore, della forza del pennello sulla tela grezza, di Tintoretto e Veronese. Appartiene a una generazione di pittori – come il francese Balthus, lo statunitense Conrad Marca-Relli, lo spagnolo Esteban Vicente e l’austriaca Maria Lassnig – che nella loro lunga esistenza sono stati testimoni dell’avvicendarsi di stili, mode e guerre.
